With great pleasure, we can announce that our affordable housing project at Lawrence Weston for Bristol City Council has been successfully handed over with new residents settling in to their homes.
Martyn Pursey, Senior Development Manager at Bristol City Council said, “The homes are part of Bristol City Council’s New Build Housing Programme which began in 2014, regenerating brownfield sites or former garage sites, to provide new high-quality homes in key areas across the city. Building new houses and addressing the shortage of adequate accommodation remains one of the key priorities for the local authority and these new houses will provide families with an affordable place to call home.”
The project involved the construction of 23 dwellings built to Passivhaus standards, with 11 required to achieve Passivhaus certification, including 12 houses (mixture of one, two and three beds), nine bungalows (mixture of one and two beds) and two flats, together with related external works and drainage.
