Halsall are excited to have been awarded lots in the South West of values between £1 and £5 million on the 5th generation Southern Construction Framework (SCF), amongst a range of other SME contractors.
Following the completion of a robust bidding process, the framework promises to provide public sector organisations access to a range of public sector construction solutions, including construct-only or design and build, construction, and management services. The new generation framework is due to be launched in May 2023 and we are delighted to be part of such an important and innovative project.
The framework will operate exclusively under SCF who maintain the reputation as being industry leaders in Two Stage Open Book project delivery. The unique delivery method of the project brings together the contractor, stakeholders and suppliers at the very start of construction, forming the initiative to reform construction practices across the UK, supported and recommended by our Government. This aligns with Halsall’s values, working collaboratively with our supply chain to provide effective solutions and reliable outcomes.

As a result, we are delighted to have some new faces working with us, bringing valuable new expertise to our construction schemes.”

Since the SCF was first established in 2007, the current SCF Residential and SCF Consult frameworks have delivered over a combined £8 billion worth of construction schemes, and the new generation SCF Construct has been created to ensure success and compliment the current schemes.
