Halsall’s owner Gavin Davis was admitted to the RUH Intensive Care Unit on 3rd April and spent 34 days on a respirator fighting coronavirus. Thankfully, Gavin has pulled through and has now moved out of intensive care to continue his recovery.
The care that he received while in the RUH Intensive Care Unit was nothing short of remarkable. We have been inspired to show our appreciation for the NHS Staff and RUH Intensive Care Unit by taking on a fundraising challenge.
In recognition of the 34 days Gavin spent on a respirator we are embarking upon the 34 day Challenge. For 34 days from 1st June members of the Halsall team and the Davis family will be organising and taking part in a series of fundraising events (in accordance with Govt. guidelines) all themed around 34 (or 3.4, 340…..and so on)
