Halsall and Alliance Homes come together to mark a very important milestone

Yesterday, we were gladly joined by Alliance Homes to celebrate the topping out of Keyne Court, our impressive new apartment block project for Alliance Homes.

Just minutes away from Keynsham’s High Street, the project saw a former Dribuild office and derelict house demolished, and an area transformed into a three-storey modern apartment block, consisting of 15 apartments, a large retail space on the lower floor and a standalone house.

The new homes will be a mix of one and two-bedrooms. The apartments will feature, adjoining balconies that can be accessed from the open plan living area or main bedroom. All the new homes will be available for Shared Ownership from Alliance.

The topping out ceremony was held, fittingly, up on the timber roof structure that will soon form the completed building. Halsall were joined for the occasion by Andy Corp, Managing Director of Halsall, Adam Davies, Customer Relationship Manager for Halsall and Iain Lock, Director of Investment, Darrell Lock, New Homes Delivery Lead and Stephen Cleavely, Building Manager for Alliance Homes.

The milestone was commemorated with the placement of the final ridge tile at the top of the building and a site tour in which everyone thoroughly enjoyed seeing the progress made so far.

At the ceremony, Andy Corp, Managing Director of Halsall commented: “It is great that we can come together to mark and celebrate such an important milestone in this project. Once complete, all homes will be handed over to Alliance Homes, a community based social housing provider operating in the West of England and will be sold using the Shared Ownership Scheme. The Shared Ownership Scheme is a low-cost home ownership product where buyers purchase a percentage stake and pay rent on the part they do not buy, also with options to buy the additional percentages in the future.
