Halsall supported Lisa’s Army as its charity of the year for 18 months and now officially celebrates the amount they have raised with a cheque presentation.

Halsall and Lisa’s Army came together at Halsall’s head office to celebrate and officially hand over the final cheque of raised donations for the Lisa’s Army charity.

In total, Halsall managed to raise and donate £10,876 to Lisa’s Army who supports those who are suffering from cancer and their families. Lisa’s Army offers a range of different experiences for their clients, including beauty treatments and pamper packages, photo shoots and capturing memories, red letter excursions and bespoke individual interest events.

Specifically, the money raised by Halsall will be going towards families who would like to experience and have special memories with loved ones during a very difficult time of their life. There will be a range of experiences organised in the near future such as family photo shoots, days out and short holidays/ breaks away.

Across the 18 months, members of Halsall took part in a range of fundraising events and initiatives to support the charities vital work. This included a large charity golf day, 5-a-side football tournaments, marathons, cake sales, fancy dress days and MORE.

Each year Lisa’s Army gives one to one support and works with families to organise a wish list and then make this come true. They would not be able to help fellow cancer patients if it was not for their formidable army of supporters, for which they are always eternally grateful for.

This has been made even more difficult over the last 2 years when, because of the pandemic, many wish list experiences have had to be sacrificed or postponed, sometimes costing huge amounts to reschedule. With the money that Halsall have raised for us, we are able to support and provide for the families we work with and really make their last wishes come true.

“We are so grateful to Halsall. The team’s time, efforts and generous donation will help Lisa’s Army extend support for families all over the UK in the coming year.”
