Letter of Intent Wapping Wharf

We are excited to announce we have received the letter of intent to carry out the works for Wapping Wharf Block F. The works will comprise the construction of the shell and core of a commercial office building with associated external works and services inside of the listed walls that originally formed the JS Fry Building – Block F.

The previous JR Fry building is soon to become the home of CARGO Works, an innovative new building offering unique workspace for businesses within this lively harbourside neighbourhood.

CARGO Works will be made up of around 90 converted shipping containers, set within the stone walls of a former warehouse. Featured within the walls of the former warehouse will be an atrium and decking on number of levels including the roof. It will cater for around 250 people across a number of businesses.

Managing Director Andy Corp has said: “ We are delighted to be working with Umberslade on the latest Phase of the Wapping Wharf regeneration. Block F is one of the final pieces in the jigsaw that will complete the regeneration of Bristol’s iconic floating harbour and as a local Contractor we are pleased to play our part in creating a lasting legacy for the City.”
