We are looking for a talented Design Manager to join the team.

As part of our commercial team you will effectively contribute to the preparation of best value tender submissions and coordinate the predictable delivery of preconstruction activities through to a site start.

You will lead our design strategy to ensure the most economically advantageous solution is adopted whilst maintaining compliance with Customer requirements.

Through engaging with our appointed professionals you will ensure that our bid strategy is adopted throughout the design development phase and that technical compliance is achieved. You will prepare and monitor preconstruction programmes ensuring timely completion of identified activities to facilitate our desired start on site.

Possessing a high degree of technical knowledge you will be fully conversant with the end to end of process of estimating and preconstruction. You will be fully conversant with the latest legislation requirements, construction methods, design standards and customer requirements.

You will be expected to effectively manage the design and technical function on projects during the construction phase. This will include completion of section agreements, discharge of planning conditions, building control and warranty issues, attendance at site meetings and responding to queries in a timely manner.
