Congratulations to the West Hendford team for winning the Halsall Health & Safety Award for 2016.

The award was presented by our Managing Director Andy Corp at our staff meeting this month which takes place twice a year. Project Manager Andy Chubb received the award on behalf of his team.

This is the first Health & Safety Award Halsall has presented and provides both an incentive and reward for our teams to strive towards maintaining the highest levels of health & safety at all times.

Each year Halsall sets targets to achieve across a range of performance measures. This year the West Hendford team has been exemplar in their Accident Incident Rate (AIR), achieving a rate of 0.27. Halsall hopes that this inspires the rest of the business and has set a company target AIR of 0.3 for the year.

The West Hendford project is the design and construction of 60 dwellings and associated works in Yeovil and is due to be completed in May next year.
