Fun was had by all last Friday at our 5th annual charity golf day and we would like to say a huge thank you to those who attended and donated on the day.
Our charity golf day this year was in aid of Lisa’s Army. Lisa’s Army was established by a wife and a mother of 2 children (aged 18 months and 5) from Frome. Lisa was diagnosed with terminal bowel and liver cancer in October 2017, aged just 32. Her story is inspirational and her fund raising has gained both local and national coverage.
This charitable company is her lasting legacy and a culmination of her inspirational work. The charity has been created by Lisa to help others who have been given a terminal diagnosis. All funds raised will be used by the charity for others affected by cancer.

A big congratulations goes to the Stride team for winning. Thanks to all the people that attended, we were able to raise a grand total of £8,680 for Lisa’s Army.

We are so grateful that we can raise money for such a worthy charity and we look forward to our 6th annual charity golf day next year.
